Set on a hilltop in eighteen acres of mature open woodland, with wonderful views of mountains and lochs, Doire an Daimh (Gaelic for 'Thicket of the Stags') provides superior and secluded self-catering whilst being close to the friendly village of Acharacle, with its shops and restaurants.
Doire an Daimh has accommodation for up to six people in three bedrooms, one en-suite: the main bathroom has a jacuzzi bath. The lounge has TV, DVD and radio/CD player, a leather suite, oak flooring,and a wood-burning stove. There is a separate dining room, a fully-equipped kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dish washer: and a washing machine lives in the utility/drying room, alongside the central heating boiler. The house has wheelchair access.
Outside there are two large deck areas with seats and tables, enjoying superb views across this beautiful area - perfect for a sunny lunch or dinner.
Red deer and badgers are daily visitors to Doire an Daimh and there is a wealth of other wildlife in the area including otters, pine martens, red squirrrels, white-tailed and golden eagles, seals and porpoise.
